What to Expect

puppy1.pngWhether you are a returning client or new to us here at Schumacher Veterinary Clinic, we strive to provide the most thorough, friendly, and effective examinations possible. Regardless if it is an annual vaccination appointment or of a more urgent issue, our staff will do their best to care for you and your furry family member. If you are new to our clinic, there will be some paperwork for you to fill out to get your information into our systems, so please arrive early for your appointment so we can get you taken care of in a timely manner.

Annual vaccine appointments: Your pet's annual check-up will include a thorough physical exam (typically at no charge) from head to tail. Because even the most cooperative pet may not readily go-along with a tooth and gum brushing, an annual cleaning by your veterinarian maybe in order, but your veterinarian will likely inform you if your pet has dental disease that needs to be addressed. Like you, your pet can lose his teeth due to decay and neglect - so it is important to make note of any issues or decreased interest in eating that you may notice.

All other appointments: Any of your concerns will be examined/addressed to the best of our abilities. Do not hesitate to bring up any and all concerns when you arrive for your appointment, and we will do our best to treat these problems as best we can.
